Energy Gain & Volume Reduction...

The Energy Gain
Where waste feedstocks, rich in energy, such as Infectious hospital waste, Municiple Solid waste and many other industrial wastes are processed, the Cambridge system will be a net producer of energy. The Cambridge system requires electricity to operate. But, for each unit of electrical energy used to process those wastes, approximately four units of energy will be recovered residing in the synthetic PCG gas.

The Volume Reduction
Demonstrations show that the volume reduction of these solid wastes, when processed in the Plasma Converter, is approximately 300 to 1 and more. Demonstrations also show that wastes feeds composed primarily of hazardous or nonhazardous paper, cloth, plastic, food, pharmaceuticals, explosives, paints, solvents, PCB's, confiscated drugs, filters, oils, and so on will result in virtually no remaining solids. Such materials result in a clean synthesis fuel gas called Plasma Converted Gas (PCG).
